Announcing the waivers, the chief minister said the Agnipath scheme implemented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 14, 2022 was a welfare scheme of the government.”Youth are trained in the Army for four years. Our government has decided to provide certain quota to these youth (Agniveers after they finish their four years in the Army),” the chief minister said.
