Katha Ankahee, starring Aditi and Adnan Khan, went off air after 250 episodes. It premiered on Sony Entertainment Television and SonyLIV from 5 December 2022 to 1 December 2023.
Popular Indian TV drama series Katha Ankahee concluded on Friday, November 1. With its 250th episode, which was also its final episode on air, it completed its plot with a happy ending and went off air. While the show was received well by the audience, what stole the limelight were the lead’s chemistry and acting prowess of Aditi Dev Sharma, who played the titular role of Katha. On the occasion of the show being complete, Aditi took to social media to share her feelings and emotions via a heartfelt Instagram post.
In one of her updates, shared yesterday, she uploaded a clip of herself with the rest of the cast members, including the male lead, Adnan Khan, who plays Viaan on the show.
In her caption, the actress has expressed her feelings before the last episode went on air, saying, “Our journey of Katha Ankahee has been beautiful. A big thank you in a virtual hug to you all ,you gave us so much love , appreciation and support . This one will always have a special place in my heart.”
She further elaborated on her character, Katha, and said that she enjoyed playing Katha Singh even though she was flawed and unreasonable sometimes. “Tried my best to be in her shoes and perform . Enjoy our last episode. Some more pics will follow soon,” she said.

In another post that followed, she posted a video of the after-party, post the show. One can see the cast and crew members of Katha Ankahee dancing to peppy numbers. Few seconds into the video, she is also seen standing with her awards while looking elegant in a long, red dress. Beside her, stands her co-actor Adnan Khan, who is also holding a trophy.
As promised, she has also included a few light-hearted moments and photos, showing glimpses of the set. In her caption, she wrote, “Thank you. For being kind. Thank you for some of the worst jokes I’ve ever heard. And some of the best ones too. Thank you for the carrots, guavas and beetroot juice. I am honoured I shared that space with you. The other day when Randeep sir said it, it hit me. I had been working with one of the greats!!! Thank you for being Katha.”
Apart from Aditi Dev Sharma and Adnan Khan in lead roles, it also stars Azinkya Mishra, Sarah Killedar, Samar Vermani and Manish Raisinghan in major roles. The show premiered on Sony Entertainment Television and SonyLIV from 5 December 2022 to 1 December 2023.
