Surbhi Chandna and Karan Sharma dated for 13 years.
TV actress Surbhi Chandna, who is recognised for her impactful roles in the shows like Naagin and Ishqbaaz, recently tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Karan Sharma at Chomu Palace in Jaipur. The duo dated each other for 13-long years. Post their grand wedding ceremony, Surbhi and Karan during a conversation with a leading media outlet spoke about their relationship journey. Karan even reacted to being called ‘sasta aashiq’ by his school friend.
Karan shared, “I am very filmy when it comes to doing anything for her. Like I would steal moments from Bollywood films and will do things for her. So that’s why my friend gave me a tag of sasta aashiq. All my surprises for her are very very filmy.”
Surbhi said, “During the initial years of dating, he (Karan) brought a painting and made a fool of me by saying that he himself painted it and he even got his name written on it. The Naagin actress asserted that after many years Karan revealed he got it painted by an actual painter. She said, “He recently told me that the painting I gave you was actually made by someone else.”
Surbhi also showered praises on her husband and further said, “He is very grand in his gestures. The marriage was his plan. We didn’t have planners. Of course we wanted to save money but also I think his creative aspect is something that one needs to tap on. I kind of feel that this gave him full liberty to go all out.”
Surbhi and Karan tied the knot on March 2. Taking to Instagram they shared their dreamy wedding pictures on Instagram in which they could be seen twinning in traditional sea-green outfits. For the wedding Surbhi opted for a sea green and pink embellished lehenga choli featuring intricate silver and pink sequin work. She completed her look with a net dupatta, maang tika, choker necklace, golden kaleeras, earrings and bangles. She chose to have dewy and radiant makeup for her big day. While Karan looked handsome as he donned a sherwani with same sea-green hues complementing Surbhi’s look.
