The pre-wedding festivities commenced on March 1 with the mehendi ceremony. It was followed by a soulful sufi night.
A clip on social media platform X captures the heartwarming moment of Surbhi Chandna and Karan Sharma engaged in a candid conversation during their haldi ceremony. Radiating with excitement, the couple continues to immerse themselves in the joy of their pre-wedding rituals, while guests are seen enjoying the festivities in the background. In one of the snaps, the couple is seen posing for the camera and flaunting their million-dollar smiles.
For her Haldi ceremony, Surbhi Chandna dazzled in a halterneck top with vibrant pearls and shells, paired elegantly with a purple lehenga embellished with intricate beadwork and coloured crystals. Karan Sharma perfectly complemented her attire by donning a resplendent golden kurta paired with crisp white Pathani trousers.
Earlier during their Sufi night, the couple exchanged rings. A clip shows them putting the rings on each other and then proudly showing them off. Both wore similar indo-western outfits, while their family members dressed traditionally for the engagement ceremony.
The highly anticipated wedding and accompanying festivities are unfolding at the Chomu Palace Hotel in Jaipur, Rajasthan. This famous venue has been featured in movies like Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Bol Bachchan.
Surbhi Chandna and Karan Sharma started dating back in 2010. Despite being in a long-term relationship, they made their intention to marry public only recently. They announced their engagement on social media on January 15, 2024, along with their wedding date.
