‘RRR’ lyricist Chandrabose on 'Naatu Naatu': The song's idea belongs to my childhood | Telugu Movie News

SS. Rajamouli’s film ‘RRR’ has earned an Oscars nomination this year for ‘Naatu Naatu’ under the Best Original song category. Speaking to a media house the lyricist of the song Chandra Bose revealed that the song idea belongs to his childhood in the village and was related to their family background.
Besides expressing his excitement and happiness, he also thanked the music director Keeravaani and film director SS. Rajamouli feels it’s a great achievement for him in his career.

Chandra Bose further shared that it took him a lot of time to write the song, and whatever he wrote was from his childhood memories as he lived in a village back then. Those feelings from his memories where put in words to create the song.
The lyricist is elated as his song finds a place in Oscar nominations among the 15 songs that competed including James Cameron’s ‘Avatar: The way of water’ for the above honour.

Meanwhile, the fictional drama film ‘RRR’ couldn’t make it to the Best Foreign Language Film list due to the Indian jury sending ‘The Chello Show’ to the Oscars this year.
