Ravi Dubey made his debut with a DD National TV show.
As per reports, Ravi will be seen playing the role of Lakshman in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan.
Television actor Ravi Dubey has carved a niche for himself in the Hindi entertainment industry, establishing his status both as an actor and a producer. Amid reports of the actor being cast in director Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming rendition of the Hindu epic Ramayan alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, Ravi Dubey on Saturday surprised the audience with a new series of intriguing pictures on social media, seemingly from the sets of his other forthcoming project.
Taking to Instagram, Ravi shared a string of pictures that he captioned in Hindi. He wrote, “Din kathin ho to neend achi aati hai (Sleep is good when the day is tough).”
The first snapshot features Ravi with an intense look, hinting at the intensity of the character that the audience is going to witness. He is seen shirtless with injury marks and dirt all over his body. In the second picture, the Jamai Raja actor appears in a rugged avatar, sitting on the ground with his hands tied with a rope. In one of the other intriguing pics, Ravi is seen tied upside down with a rope. The astounding pictures not only indicate the character’s depths but also set the stage for a captivating story. However, further deets about this project are yet to be revealed.
Soon after the actor shared the pictures on Instagram, it captivated the audience prompting several reactions from the users. A user wrote, “So dangerous look sir.” Another user wrote, “Wow.” Some users asked the actor for an update on the second season of Matsya Kaand. One of them wrote, “When will Matsya Kaand season 2 come?” Another user commented, “We’re missing Matsya a lot.”
Ravi marked his acting debut with the DD National TV show Stree Teri Kahaani, which was produced by legendary actors and couple Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu. Later, he was seen in TV shows like Doli Saja Ke, Yahan Ke Hum Sikandar and Saas Bina Sasural. among others. He also appeared in the eighth season of filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi.
He made his digital debut with the web series Jamai 2.0 alongside Nia Sharma and was also seen in the con-thriller web series Matsya Kaand alongside Ravi Kishan. If the reports are to be believed, Ravi will be seen playing the role of Lakshman in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan. However, an official confirmation about the same is still awaited from the makers.
