NEW DELHI: A man while travelling from Dehradun to New Delhi(Anand vihar) on Vande Bharat express was allegedly served with fungus-infested yogurt. The passenger Harshad Topkar took it to twitter tagging the official accounts of the Ministry of Railways, Northern Railway, including the Railway Minister on X (formerly Twitter) and said “Traveling on Vande Bharat from Dehradun to Anand Vihar in the executive class today.Found a greenish layer, most probably fungus, in the yogurt served. This is not expected from the Vande Bharat service.”
Within half an hour the official X account of Railway (@RailwaySeva) responded and looked into the matter, meanwhile the IRCTC(@IRCTCofficial) said “Sir, our sincere apology for the inconvenience caused. The matter was immediately attended by onboard supervisor and replaced the curd immediately. Further, curd pack was within the expiry date. The issue is being raised with the manufacturer.”
