“There’s a weight in his name – Kalikant Thakur. He is a misogynist. He belongs to that strata of society, which believes in the caste system. He is an authoritarian, patriarchal, and misogynistic person, who is cruel towards the people of the Chitta community. It is a very dark character. Such a strong male character hasn’t been written on Indian television. I am very happy to play such a character,” he added while talking about his role.
