In a recent interaction, Deepali Pansare opened up about the ongoing controversy surrounding Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
Television actress Deepali Pansare has, over the years, garnered much appreciation with her roles in serials like Mukurane Ki Wajah Tum Ho, Khidki, Is Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? and Chikoo Ki Mummy Door Kei. The actress recently began her new journey with the serial Jhanak, in which she is seen essaying the character of a strict school principal Mrinalini. In a recent chat with ETimes TV, Deepali opened up about her role in the daily soap and also talked about the ongoing controversy in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
Speaking about Jhanak, the actress said, “I have watched a few episodes of the show and I had given look tests for quite a few characters. The director of the show Yogesh Bhati is my favourite and I’ve worked with him earlier.” Talking about her character, she added, “I am quite different from Mrinalini’s character in real life. This the best part of being an actor as we get to break our comfort zone with each and every role that we do on screen. With this I am trying to convince my viewers that I am such a strict and intimidating person as a school principal.”
Deepali also opened up about her previous show Muskurane Ki Wajah Tum Ho wrapping up in just four months and said, “I have been blessed to be a part of hit shows. As an actor, we give auditions, waits for months for the show to go on-air and then when it just shuts down in few months, we do feel sad about it. The only hope is that it sustains longer.”
The actress further talked about the ongoing controversy over Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Asper reports actors Shehzada Dhami and Praitksha Sonmukhe were fired from the show by the producer and were asked to leave the sets within 15 minutes. She said, “Any actor must keep his personal and private life separate. If you’re working for 12 hours, then punctuality, performance and head work is really important. I would not want to comment on what really happened as I wasn’t present on the show’s set and didn’t know what actually happened there.”
Jhanak premiers on the channel Star Plus. Krushal Ahuja and Hiwa Nawab are the lead pair of the show.
