The latest season of the popular reality TV show Bigg Boss 17 is starting to get intense with every passing day. The recent ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episode was an apt example of all the undercurrents and drama one should expect in the coming months. Whether it was the glamourous wild card entry of Manasvi Mamgai or a shocking twist in the dynamics between Isha Malviya and Abhishek Kumar, the viewers had every reason to tune in to this exciting episode.
The episode kickstarted with the stellar trio Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan. Making it official that Arbaaz and Sohail will be hosting the show on Sundays, Salman Khan’s banter with his brothers also went on to reveal that Sohail and Arbaaz might be roasting the contestants in the coming episodes.
Meanwhile, in the following segment, the popular model, actress and activist Manasvi Mamgai delivered a sizzling performance, post which the Action Jackson star revealed her thoughts on some of the contenders. For instance, she expressed that Khanzadi is ‘disruptive’ and that she’ll help Mannara Chopra ‘alleviate’ her fashion sense. She also reveals that she finds Munawar and Abhishek hot and that she finds Isha toxic. Before sending her inside the house, Salman Khan urged Manasvi to ‘shake things up’ among them.
Before the eviction, Salman Khan introduced a task for the house inmates where they were supposed to use a prop like a hammer or Neem juice on fellow contestants, that they feel ‘corroborates’ with their antics inside the house. The first one to use a hammer on Khanzadi was Arun. His reason behind choosing the prop was to compel her to use her brain.
Anurag used the Neem juice for Ankita Lokhande, advising her that she needs to control her tongue. Manasvi applied clay on Munawar Faruqui’s face since she feels the comedian-rapper is fake.
Later, Karan Kundrra and Mouni Roy joined Salman Khan to promote their upcoming reality show ‘Temptation Island’. The duo had an interesting task of their own that they had designed. To the viewers excitement, Mannara, Munawar and Ankita were the ones to partake in it. Observing how Munawar navigated through the game, Salman jokingly warned the other two participants that no matter how cunning Munawar might come across, it will eventually come back and bite him. To this, Munawar claimed that Salman Khan was trying to incite.
Finally, the time for elimination dawns upon everyone. The contestants were asked by the Bigg Boss to cast their votes between Soniya and Sana. Since Sana got the maximum votes from her fellow contestants, Soniya got evicted. To diffuse the tension, Krushna Abhishek also made his entrance inside the Bigg Boss 17 house, to engage and interact with the remaining participants.
Not only did he make Mannara Chopra and Ankita Lokhande compete with each other to see who can act better but also complimented Abhishek and Munawar for their game plan and their sense of approaching certain situations inside the house. Krushna also had something hilarious to say about everyone who made it into another week.
Meanwhile, the adorable couple Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Lokhande seemed to be embroiled in an argument. Amid the tensions brewing between the two, Munawar and Khanzadi hug it out after Khanzadi confesses that her vibe gels seamlessly with Munawar.
Towards the end of the episode, Isha and Abhishek are called to the BB Theatre, where they both get teary eyed after watching some mushy and tumultuous moments that they had shared inside the house. When the clip concluded, Samarth Jurel makes a shocking entrance, claiming himself to be the boyfriend of Isha Malviya. Just then, Bigg Boss throws another curve ball by asking Isha who she wants inside her house.
Although, Abhishek relentlessly tries to convince Isha to select Samarth, Isha chooses Abhishek, leaving Samarth visibly hurt and dejected. As he makes his way inside the house, Isha asks him whether he told Bigg Boss she was his girlfriend. Ankita and a few other contestants approach Isha individually to get to the bottom of the truth but Isha remains undeterred that Samarth was not her boyfriend. It would be interesting to find out in the next episode whether Isha actually kept her relationship with Samarth concealed or whether Samarth was telling a lie.
