Television actor Ali Merchant faced an unexpected health setback shortly before a major event in Indore. He was diagnosed with a cyst near his spine, which was initially misdiagnosed as an infection, causing significant pain and demanding immediate medical attention. As per the latest update, the actor is doing better.
A report by Etimes mentioned that the cyst was about 1-1/2 to two inches. Ali underwent successful cyst extraction surgery, followed by stitches and additional inspection of the removed tissue. Despite this unexpected setback, Ali remains determined to fulfil his obligations in Indore. The report added that according to sources close to the actor, the surgery was successful, and Ali is currently recovering. Furthermore, it stated that the actor, known for his uncompromising dedication to work, is expected to prioritise his health and well-being during this critical time.
Meanwhile, Ali Merchant was on a positive note in his life owing to his wedding a few months back. He married his longtime partner Andleeb Zaidi in Lucknow. The couple shared their joy with the world by posting the first photos from their wedding on social media. Ali Merchant and his bride looked royal in their wedding clothes. Ali opted for a cream-coloured sherwani, while his wife was also seen twinning with him in a similar-coloured lehenga. Sharing the pictures, the actor wrote, “And now we can hang out forever, Happily ever after stars now. Ali Merchant was formerly wedded to actor Sara Khan. The couple tied the knot on the sets of Bigg Boss 4. However, after only a few months of marriage, they parted ways. Ali then married Anam Merchant in 2016, and they split in 2021. Ali has appeared in several television shows, including Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Lock Upp 1, Bandini, and Yeh Hai Aashiqui. His wife Andleeb is a model.
