‘Ram Setu’ has fared decently in mass centres and has earned around Rs 15 crore nett on its first day, reports Boxofficeindia. The movie has earned over Rs 1 crore from the Rajasthan circuit while CP Berar has also added Rs 1 crore nett to the total. ‘Ram Setu’ has performed well in the UP, Bihar and CI and Gujarat /Saurashtra markets too, while in Mumbai the film is expected to cross Rs 5 crore. The present trend suggests that ‘Ram Setu’ has managed to earn more than ‘Thank God’, which also released on the same day. ‘Ram Setu’ has bagged the second biggest opening of the year, after ‘Brahmastra’. The first day collection of ‘Ram Setu’ is nearly the double of Akshay Kumar’s last release ‘Raksha Bandhan’. Directed by Abhishek Sharma, ‘Ram Setu’ stars Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Satya Dev in lead roles. Akshay essays the role of an archeologist who probes the film.
