News18 Showsha has exclusively learnt that Katha Ankahee, starring Adnan Khan and Aditi Sharma in the lead, will go off-air soon.
Here’s some news which will surely leave Katha Ankahee fans upset. News18 Showsha has exclusively learnt that the popular show, starring Adnan Khan and Aditi Sharma in the lead, will go off-air soon. While the reason behind the decision is not known as of now, a source close to the production told us that the show is not getting extended and is going off-air for sure.
“Yes, it is true that the most-loved show is going off-air soon. The exact reason behind the same is not known. It is the makers’ decision. They were considering if they want to extend the show for some time but then they changed their mind,” the source said.
The insider further revealed that the leads – Adnan Khan and Aditi Sharma are obviously ‘disheartened’ with the decision. “Adnan and Aditi will wrap up their last shoot in the next few days. Of course, they are disheartened,” the source added.
However, it should be noted that the makers of the popular show have not issued any official statement confirming or denying the information.
Katha Ankahee premiered in December 2022 and enjoys a massive fan following. The show stars Adnan and Aditi as Viaan and Katha respectively. Their on-screen chemistry is widely loved by all. The show revolved around Katha, a single parent, who required financial help for her son’s medical treatment. While looking for a job for herself, she comes across Viaan, a business. He offers her help but also puts her in an awkward situation. Over time, the two fell in love with each other. However, a tragedy changes their lives when they decide to marry.
Besides Adnan and Aditi, Katha Ankahee also stars Sheen Dass, Samar Virmani, and Preeti Amin in key roles. The show airs on Sony Entertainment Television every Monday to Friday at 8:30 pm.
