Divya Agarwal is ready to start a new chapter in her life. The Bigg Boss OTT 1 winner will get married to her partner Apurva Padgaonkar on February 20. The couple who got engaged in 2020, announced their wedding last year on December 13 through a lovely video. Ever since the announcement, fans have been waiting with bated breaths for the duo to tie the knot. Now Divya Agarwal and her restauranter fiance will finally be taking the plunge at the actress’ Chembur home. Just three days ahead of the wedding, the bride-to-be was papped in Mumbai, distributing sweets to the paparazzi.
In a video doing the rounds on Instagram, Divya Agarwal was captured urging the shutterbugs to have some sweets for her wedding. When the paparazzi asked her to pose for pictures first, she happily obliged. After the clicks, the reality show star opened the sweet box, offering laddoos to the media. Divya was dressed in a grey ribbed top and ripped denim jeans. A black sling bag hung across her shoulders. The Cartel actress looked pretty in minimal makeup with her hair left open. She sported a beaming smile on her face, radiating joy and happiness.
On Valentine’s Day, Divya Agarwal dropped a romantic picture with Apurva Padgaonkar on Instagram. Sharing the wedding date with the masses she wrote, “Every day is Valentine for us and the month of February will be the most special month for us. 20th February 2024, will be husband and wife forever.” The lovebirds looked at each other affectionately and shared a warm hug.
Earlier, in an interaction with E-Times, Divya Agarwal explained the reason behind opting for a simple wedding rather than a lavish one. “We are getting married at home, and we are very proud of that decision because, honestly, we didn’t want to go with the regular ideas. People book a five-star hotel and do all the festivities in the banquets and near the swimming pool, but I really wanted to do something offbeat,” she revealed, adding that it was the unconventional “experience” that mattered to her the most.
The wedding preparations, beginning from the sangeet ceremony will kickstart on February 18, followed by the mehendi rituals on February 19. For the unversed, Divya Agarwal was previously in a relationship with television actor Varun Sood. They parted ways in March 2022.
