Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’s Original Star Cast Reunite For Dinner, Fans Miss Hina Khan

The OG star cast of popular TV serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai including Karan Mehra, Neha Saroopa Babani, Nidhi Uttam, Sonali Verma, Medha Jambotkar and Ayush Viz recently reunited for a dinner party, bringing back fond memories for the viewers. Karan Mehra, who played the role of Naitik in the show, took to Instagram and shared a few glimpses from the team’s outing in Mumbai, bringing back a whole lot of nostalgia.

The first post is a collage of a throwback picture from the sets of YRKKH featuring the entire cast and a recent pic from their dinner party. In both the photos, we see the star cast posing in the same position. The next posts depicted the precious moments that the popular Singhaniya Family spent together during their dinner date. Mohit Pathak and Sakshi Kohli also joined in for the reunion.

Needless to say, fans were missing Hina Khan, who played beloved Akshara in the iconic show. She couldn’t be a part of this reunion due to her health condition.

Sharing the post, Karan wrote in the caption, “Most cherished moments happen when friends and family get together. Last night was just about that with my extended family from YRKKH. An evening filled with fun and laughter with the crazy bunch.”

As soon as the actor shared the post, the comment section was flooded with a slew of reactions. Fans, who have followed the show since its inception, were happy to see their favourite actors coming together once again. An Instagram user wrote, “Missing Akshara.” Another said, “Yrkkh is the best show till date..after you guys left I stopped watching and I still watch your season again and again.” One of them noted, “Singhanias Reunion.”

A few days back, Karan also posted a video of the YRKKH family from their dinner party. In the clip, the actor greeted all the fans of YRKKH by saying that the reunion was much needed and they were having fun. He also thanked all the admirers for showering love on the show.

Lastly, Sonali Verma, who played Karan’s mother on the show expressed gratitude to all the fans for showering love and support for so many years.

First premiered in 2009, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is among one of the longest-running TV serials.
