The reality show Bigg Boss is renowned for its controversies and conflicts among contestants, and the last season was no exception. Two popular participants, Samarth Jurel and Abhishek Kumar, found themselves at odds when Abhishek slapped Samarth over a dispute regarding mental health. However, in a surprising turn of events, the duo appears to have reconciled weeks after the show concluded. Both Samarth and Abhishek attended their co-contestant Jigna Vora’s birthday celebration, where they greeted each other warmly and even humorously recreated the infamous slap scene.

Abhishek Kumar and Samarth Jurel were spotted together outside Jigna Vora’s party venue, showcasing a surprising display of camaraderie. The duo embraced each other warmly, engaging in playful banter, clicking selfies, and entertaining the paparazzi. In a lighthearted moment, Abhishek even humorously reenacted the infamous slap incident that occurred during their time on the show. Despite their past conflicts, they appeared to have buried the hatchet, sharing laughs and posing for the cameras. Abhishek opted for a casual look, sporting a red jacket, while Samarth rocked a black striped tee paired with matching trousers. Interestingly, both actors had previously collaborated on the show Udaariyan. Their past rivalry stemmed from their association with Isha Malviya, who had been romantically involved with Abhishek before dating Samarth.

Meanwhile, the party was also attended by other Bigg Boss 17 stars including Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, Isha Malviya and others.

After the show, in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Abhishek had recounted about the incident. Abhishek said, “I didn’t realise when I slapped Samarth. I don’t have even one percent realisation. And I didn’t even realise whether I had pushed him or slapped him. When he kept his hand on his cheek at that time I realised that I had slapped him. That was my reaction because he had poked me a lot.” Abhishek was briefly evicted from the show after slapping Samarth Jurel, who had irritated him by bringing up his mental health difficulties. Abhishek also had to deal with jibes from his ex-girlfriend Isha Malviya, who supported Samarth.

Samarth Jurel was eliminated from Bigg Boss 17 in the last few weeks leading to the finale. But on the other hand, Abhishek secured the first runner-up position. He was recently seen in the music video Saanware with co-contestant Mannara Chopra.
