Khatron Ke Khiladi 14: Aashish Mehrotra Breaks Down As Rohit Shetty Praises Him

Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 is getting intense with each passing week. As the stunts get harder, contestants are struggling to survive on the show. In the recent episode, Aashish Mehrotra faced elimination after losing a task to Sumona Chakravarti and Shalin Bhanot by 9 seconds. The Anupamaa actor was seen finding it hard to hold back tears as he bid adieu to the thrilling reality show. Host Rohit Shetty also lauded Aashish for his zeal on the show.

In the video shared by the makers, Karan Veer Mehra was seen consoling Aashish Mehrotra. Aashish has also thanked Rohit Shetty and the makers for the opportunity. He also mentioned that Rohit Shetty is an important figure in his life because he was a judge on the show India’s Next Superstars, which he won.

The actor also expressed how grateful he was for the support of his fans, who were rooting for him so far. The show had an interesting Bluff Master week, where Aashish had to bluff Niyati Fatnani, but failed, bringing him to the elimination round. Sumona Chakravarti, Aashish Mehrotra, and Shalin Bhanot had to perform the elimination stunt that involved snakes and electric shocks. Aashish, despite his fear of snakes, was the first to attempt the stunt. Aashish completed the stunt in 6 minutes and 4 seconds, while Shalin Bhanot took 4 minutes and 50 seconds. Sumona Chakravarti took 5 minutes and 55 seconds to complete the task.

Last week, Aditi Sharma was eliminated from the Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. Krishna Shroff and Shilpa Shinde were evicted as well. However, the duo were brought back to the show as wildcard contenders.
