Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya were in Florence to celebrate their wedding anniversary.

Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya have safely returned to India after going through a tragic experience during their vacation in Italy. While the couple was enjoying their time in Florence, their car was broken and valuables worth Rs 10 lakh were stolen. Fortunately, their situation improved after receiving help from the Indian Embassy, which provided Emergency Certificates and the small-screen stars managed to travel back home. Despite the unfortunate incident, Divyanka and Vivek are focusing on the positive side. The couple shared a happy moment with their fans, where they are seen raising a toast by clinking champagne glasses on their flight back to Mumbai.

Tripathi and Dahiya received appreciation from fans for remaining strong despite their challenging experience in a foreign land. Sharing the video, Vivek wrote, “When little things become big and big things become little. Cheers to the brighter side of life. What do YOU want to raise a toast to today?”

Meanwhile, soon after Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya landed at the Mumbai Airport, the couple interacted with the paparazzi about their experience. “I’m really forward ki hum ghar jaldi se pohochen aur chain ki saas lein. (I’m really looking forward to getting home quickly and taking a peaceful breath).” Further, when the photographer asked details about the incident, the actress added, “Yaar bohot lambi kahani hai, do shabdo mai nahi bataya jayega. (It’s a really long story, it can’t be explained in just a few words),” Divyanka Tripathi said.

After the incident in Italy, Vivek Dahiya spoke with ETimes and revealed their disappointing experience. He mentioned their trip was going wonderful until the robbery happened. As per the actor, they arrived in Florence and were looking at suitable properties. They parked their car at a secure location but returned to find their passports, wallets, money and other valuable items stolen. Despite reporting to the local police, they couldn’t help as there were no CCTV cameras in the area. They were also unable to get help from the Indian embassy as it was already closed. Despite the situation, the hotel staff was very supportive and kind.
