CID Actress Vaishnavi Dhanraj Accuses Family Of Physical Abuse, Shows Bruises On Video; Watch

Trigger Warning — abuse: Television actress Vaishnavi Dhanraj, known for her roles in successful shows like Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Bepannaah, and CID, is currently facing a challenging situation in her personal life. In a distressing video, she shared her ordeal, alleging that she was held hostage by her own family.

In the video, Dhanraj claimed that she has been beaten up by her family. The video saw her saying, “I am in trouble, and my life is in danger. My family is not allowing me to move out. Right now, I am in the police. I’ve been abused by my family and I’m hit very badly. Please I need help from everybody from the media, news channels, and everybody in the industry. Please come and help me.”

In the video, Vaishnavi could be seen with bruises on her body and face, including injuries on her lips and hand. The actress, known for her role in C.I.D, has been absent from the small screen. Following domestic abuse by her husband Nitin Sehrawat, Vaishnavi had requested a divorce.

In an interview with TOI earlier, Vaishnavi had said that she had tried to make the marriage work. “When nothing was working, I decided to take a drastic step and file for divorce as a final resort. The primary cause was domestic violence. We could have worked things out, but the physical abuse caused us to part ways.” she had told the portal.
