Nikkita Ghag got candid about being coping with trolling.
Renowned for her screen presence and acting prowess, Nikkita Ghag has firmly established herself in the realm of entertainment. From her notable roles in “Bekaboo 3” and ‘Fuh Se Fantasy’ to her production venture “Anandi” on Disney Plus Hotstar, Nikkita has consistently showcased her versatility. Now, she graces the lead role in ‘Pyarr ka Bazaar Karobaar,’ a captivating romantic drama that recently premiered on the digital platform Altt. This latest endeavor marks yet another milestone in Nikkita’s illustrious career. With her charm and skill, Nikkita is set to captivate audiences once more. Nikkita opened up about her approach to handling the aftermath of portraying bold scenes in ‘Bekaaboo 3’ amidst the wave of trolling.
Reflecting on the constant criticism, Nikkita shares her candid thoughts, “I face trolling and receive negative comments on a daily basis. Someone or the other wants to comment on what kind of clothes I should wear or how I should look. Whenever I upload bold pictures or videos on Instagram, there’s a section of people waiting for me to post that particular thing. They’re ready with their negative comments, but I don’t respond to them. I see that not only me, but even big names like Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, who are the most loved actors in the Indian industry, also go through trolling. I don’t think they respond to such comments. I take inspiration from them on how to deal with trolling, and I keep on doing my work without letting it affect me.”
When asked about her strategies for handling online criticism and maintaining her mental well-being amidst such negativity, she responded, “Trolling and negative comments affect me. No matter how much one says you can let it go, somewhere it does affect me. I ask myself questions like why me? There’s no other way to sneak out from this. I keep on doing my stuff. There was a time when I was new in the industry and had to go through all of this, wherein I did get depressed and it really affected my mind. But then I just thought that there is no other way. If you have chosen this industry, if you have chosen to be a public figure, this is what you get. Then I started thinking on the fact that this is going to happen and this is the part and parcel of my life. I just accepted it and kept on doing what I had to do. And I think only one thing works over here, which is your hard work. I think someday soon I will do something or get a real good project. I think all the negative comments would turn into positive. That’s what I hope for.”
