Asha Negi And Surbhi Jyoti’s Latest Instagram Entry Is All About ‘Purani Dosti’

Popular television actress Asha Negi’s recent post is all about ‘purani dosti’. Highlighting her bond with her BFF Surbhi Jyoti, she posted a video on Instagram. The clip serves as a testament to how their bond stood the test of time while also reflecting on the importance of a supportive female best friend. It shows both Asha and Surbhi cherishing their bond as they flaunt their ethereal beauty in traditional picks.

Asha Negi, in the video, is seen wearing a striking pink traditional suit with a floral organza dupatta. Surbhi Jyoti, on the other hand, creates a contrasting visual, donning a gorgeous mustard yellow ensemble. The duo, laughing together and posing for the lens, radiate positivity and joy in the frame. Following a successful TV stint, Asha Negi made her film debut in 2020 with filmmaker Anurag Basu’s Ludo. Her last acting project was Abhay season 3, released two years back. Since then, she has yet to announce any project. When asked about the reason behind the absence from the screen, the actress told Hindustan Times, “I have been doing projects but one of them, which I shot two years back, hasn’t been released. I hope it will be released this year. Other than that, there are two more releases to happen this year.”

However, Asha Negi is content with the kind of work coming her way. In the same interview, she added, “It’s been some time since my debut with Ludo, but I have been doing web series. I have been getting great work and I have been busy. I am not compromising on my work quality and doing the things that I actually want to do.”

As for Surbhi Jyoti, she last appeared alongside Gashmeer Mahajani in the series titled Gunaah. The series is available for streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar. Besides, she also made headlines for her personal life as she made her relationship with Sumit Suri Instagram official earlier this year. The couple are rumoured to be dating for a while now and are serious about each other.
