Adnan Khan On Katha Ankahee’s 8-Month Leap: ‘It’s A New Challenge For Us’

Adnan Khan and Aditi Dev Sharma’s popular show Katha Ankahee has impressed viewers with its captivating storyline. The show recently embarked on a brief 8-month leap, during which Viaan (Played by Adnan Khan) served time in jail while Katha (Played by Aditi Sharma) started her own event management company. During an interview with Etimes TV, Adnan opens up on the show’s 8-month leap and how his character will evolve in the forthcoming episodes.

Adnan shared, “Of course, the whole perspective of Viaan Raghuvanshi is going to change as the character itself is very layered since the beginning. No human can ever react the same way he/she used to react sometime back, so similar is the case. With a whole new chapter, the relationship will surely evolve and Katha and Viaan’s perspective towards each other will also undergo a lot of changes.”

Speaking about the new chapter in the show, Adnan said, “We are super pumped up for the new chapter. I, as an actor look forward to these types of changes which are kind of challenging. More than a leap it is a new challenge for all of us, and I am really looking forward to it.”

Previously, the show’s lead actress Aditi Dev Sharma revealed that the leap was necessary to add more drama to the series. She shared it was going to be a fresh story, and they were eager to see how the audience connected with it. “Fans can expect Katha and Viaan to meet again,” she added.

In the show’s latest track, Viaan has come out of jail and is eager to meet Katha, but she hasn’t reached out to him. Aarav, in the meantime, is struggling and becoming violent due to the separation. Katha, while getting help for Aarav, decides to get engaged to the doctor who’s looking after her son. This marks the end of her intentions to marry Viaan, as she hastily chooses to marry the new man in her life.

Katha Ankahee revolves around the life of Katha Singh, a single mother, and Viaan Raghuvanshi, a renowned architect. The show is inspired by the Turkish serial One Thousand And One Nights.

Adnan Khan started his television journey as Mawlawi Kabeer Ahmed in Zee TV’s Ishq Subhan Allah. The actor will be next seen in director Anuj Sharma’s upcoming thriller film, The Rage: Over Injustice, alongside Roshni Kapoor and Aditya Khurana.
